Meike van den Heuvel
FPH Docent opleiding Fysiotherapie
Mijn naam is Meike van den Heuvel en ben sinds december werkzaam als docent aan opleiding tot Fysiotherapeut (team B). Voor mij was dit terugkomen op het oude nest waar ik van 2004 tot 2008 mijn eerste stappen in fysiotherapeutenland heb kunnen zetten.
Na mijn afstuderen ben ik aan de slag gegaan in particulieren praktijken waar ik met name het werken met de chronische patiënt en het één op één bijdragen aan de 'Quality of Life' een leuke uitdaging vindt. Geïnspireerd door dit mooie beroep en opzoek naar verdieping heb ik in 2015 de master "Biology of Human Performance and Health" afgerond in Maastricht.
Tijdens mijn afstudeeronderzoek (mede mogelijk gemaakt door FSH (Fontys Sport Hogeschool) werd mijn enthousiasme gewekt voor het docentschap. Deze kans diende zich aan, deze kreeg ik en deze greep ik. Met veel plezier sta ik voor de groep en werk ik mee aan onderwijsontwikkelingen.
Zoekende naar "hoe" een "goede en inspirerende docent" te zijn, ben ik enthousiast met de BDB training gestart en heb ik een leerzaam traject gevolgd.
